On Oct. 21, breast cancer survivors and family members will gather together for the annual Breast Cancer Survivor Brunch and Balloon Lift Off at L.V. Stabler Memorial Hospital. 

The event is organized and sponsored by L.V. Stabler’s Healthy Woman Group, as well as Our Healthy Circle.    

October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. 

The brunch will start at 9:30 a.m. in the hospital dining room.  Immediately following the brunch will be a balloon lift off in honor and memory of the friends and loved ones of those in attendance. 

Linda Hummel, coordinator for Healthy Woman and Our Healthy Circle, encourages attendance.  “This event is a good time to come together to remember and honor family members, friends and loved ones that have been affected by breast cancer,” Hummel said. 

Breast cancer survivors and family members are welcome to attend and are asked to reserve a spot by calling Hummel at 383-2305.
