Greenville High School student Alexander Bailey has joined the Huntingdon First Marching Band.

He was presented with a new mellophone by Harold Blakenship, right, Director of Bands at Huntingdon College in Montgomery, to be used for the upcoming 2009 fall football season.

Bailey also received the Scarlet and Grey Marching Band Grant in the amount of $9,995 towards his tuition.

The Huntingdon First Marching Band performs at the Hawks football games, various marching festivals as well as local parades during the fall season.
