A Greenville man has been arrested in connection with a shooting that took place on South Street July 1.
Terrance Richardson, 24, was arrested Wednesday and charged with assault, second degree.
According to authorities, Richardson and another man got into an argument around 5 a.m. on July 1. Richardson then allegedly fired multiple shots at the victim.
“Several shots were fired, and the victim was struck once in the foot before running from the offender,” said Lovvorn, commander of the Greenville Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division. “The offender then fled the scene before officers arrived.”
The U.S. Marshall’s Fugitive Task Force assisted the GPD in locating Richardson, who is being held in the Butler County Correctional Facility.
