Greenville Police are looking for a suspect wanted in connection to an early morning shooting Friday.
Just after 5 a.m. officers responded to a call in reference to shots fired on South Street. After arriving on the scene, they found a 36-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound.
“Several shots were fired, and the victim was struck once in the foot before running from the offender,” said Capt. Justin Lovvorn, commander of the Criminal Investigations Division. “The offender then fled the scene before officers arrived.”
Lovvorn said investigators interviewed witnesses at the scene and are now searching for Terrance Richardson, a 24-year-old black man from Greenville.
Anyone with information on Richardson’s location is asked to call (334) 382-7461.
