Alan D. Ward, 56, a resident of Georgiana, Ala., passed away March 18. A celebration of life service was held at 2 p.m. on March 21 from the Johnson Funeral Chapel with Rev. Randy Sexton officiating. Burial followed in Oakwood Cemetery with Johnson Funeral Home of Georgiana, Ala., directing arrangements. Survivors include wife, Pam Ward, Georgiana, Ala.; sons, Byron Ward and Isaac Ward, both of Georgiana, Ala., and Blakely Ward, Red Level, Ala.; mother, Audrey Sellers, Baker Hill, Ala.; and sister, Kathy Fann, Cincinnati, Ohio. Alan also leaves behind six grandchildren. Pallbearers were Lt. Jeffrey Weaver, officers Rickey Page, Ray Skipper, Billie Dorriety, Chris Wells and Joey Williams.
