Mrs. Betty G. Bray, 80, a resident of Luverne, passed away on Thursday, July 9, 2015.

Graveside services were held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, July 11, in the Luverne Emmaus Cemetery with the Rev. Donnie Burns officiating and Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing.

Mrs. Bray was preceded in death by her husband, Pete Bray; grandson, Heath Lowery; parents, Lonnie and Grace Maddox; three sisters, Hazel Hosier, Mary Lou Adkinson and Madge Maddox; and brother, Harris Maddox.

She is survived by three children, Audee (Harold) Lowery, Tram Bray and Becky (David) Smyth; four grandchildren, Misty (Brad) Meredith, Courtney Smyth, Alex Bray and Gage Bray; two great-grandchildren, Brady and Pete Meredith; and friend and caregivers, Jean Bowen and Laura Simpson.

Active pallbearers were Harold Lowery, David Smyth, Brad Meredith, George Tranum, Larry Smith and Denny Williams.

The family requests that any memorial donations be made to the Luverne First Baptist Church or one’s favorite charity.
