It’s almost that time of the year. Football is in the air , fall is on the way and the Greenville Tigers’ opponents for the 2015 season are locked.
The Tigers aim to keep their momentum moving forward after a third-round playoff appearance during the 2014 season.
Though the postseason is a tossup each year, the Tigers will have a very similar, if not identical, path to the playoffs.
Greenville will kick off the fall season with back-to-back home games against Elmore County and Valley on Aug. 21 and Aug. 28 respectively.
The Tigers will then hit the road for their first region battle against Booker T. Washington on Sept. 4.
The second region game will follow the week after against Charles Henderson, although the Tigers will have home field advantage this season.
Greenville will then hit the road for three consecutive games against Alma Bryant, Georgiana and Alabama Christian, and then the team will return to Tiger Stadium for a homecoming game against Sidney Lanier on Oct. 9.
Greenville will then round out the regular season with games against Eufaula, Rehobeth and Evergreen Hillcrest.
The Greenville High Tigers Facebook page has announced that end zone parking will remain $75 for the upcoming season, and includes one season pass.
Season passes are $30, which grants admission into the four regular season home games as well as the jamboree game on Aug. 21.
Tickets cost $7 at the gate otherwise, and reserved seating is similarly unchanged at $25.
Those interested in purchasing tickets are asked to call Adam Simmons at 334-437-3906.
