A Luverne child was flown to Birmingham after being hit by a vehicle on Ninth Street Friday afternoon.

M’Kayla Dawson, 7, was sent to Children’s Hospital of Birmingham after sustaining injuries. As of 6 p.m., she was listed in fair condition.
