Greenville Parks and Rec announces all-star teams, individual awards

Despite a series of rain delays and game cancellations, the Greenville Parks and Recreation Department announced the members of the 2015 Dixie Mite, Angels and Darlings All-Stars.
The department also named the recipients of several Most Valuable Player awards, and it recognized players who demonstrated excellent sportsmanship throughout league play.
Dixie Mite All-Stars include Andrew Austin Beck, Chandler Evan Little, John Travis Sessions, James Percy Snell, Benton Ward Taylor, Oskar Gray Hanson, Braydon Joseph Lawley, Willie James Taylor Jr., Sandrell A. Williams Jr., Paxton Jemerion Moorer, Eason Manning Pierce and Francis J. Rogers Jr.
MVPs were Austin Beck, John Travis Sessions, Chandler Little, Morgan Heath and Oskar Hanson, and sportsmanship winners were Sandrell Williams, Benton Taylor and Jack Brogden.
The Dixie Darlings All-Stars include Anna Claire Thomas, Katelyn Joy Turner, Jaliah Amiya McMeans, Martasia Jyshae Savage, Sy’Nya Lucretia Edwards, Ta Jaylen Joshunae Smith, Marli Elizabeth Campbell, Regan Elizabeth Burrage, Alexia Marie Reaves, Bailey Renay Lambert, Presley Nacole Hamilton and Lauren Michele Houston.
MVPs were Bailey Lambert, Anna Claire Thomas and Marli Campbell, and sportsmanship winners were Ceil Gregory, Kenadie Mount and Ada Gates.
The Dixie Angels All-Stars are Annah Parker Little, Ella Claire Campbell, Kristan Amelia Sessions, Emily Grace Bowen, Makenna Ann Philpot, Abby Lane Pope, Haley Michelle Burrage, JoVala Angel Ocean, Hannah Michelle Laird, Carley Katherine Boutwell, Julianna Maria Breau and Alli Isabelle Butts.
MVPs were Angel Ocean and Annah Parker Little, and sportsmanship winners were Lily Van Dyke and Emily Bowen.
