LBWCC inducts 45 into PTK

LBW Community College’s Alpha Beta Eta Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society recently held the 2015 spring induction of 45 new members.
Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) is the international honor society of two-year colleges and recognizes the high academic achievement of students with a minimum of a 3.5 grade point average and completion of at least 12 credit hours.
PTK provides opportunities for individual growth and development through participation in honors, leadership, service and fellowship programming.
“We are proud of the academic accomplishments of our students and congratulate those inducted into Phi Theta Kappa,” said LBWCC President Dr. Herb Riedel. “This is a prestigious honor society and offers members a competitive edge in leadership development.”
