The CCA Student Government Association held their annual See You at the Pole event on September 24,2014. See You at the Pole is a nationwide event where students get to come together as one to pray and hear the word of God through scripture and song. We were entertained with the song”Our God by Chris Tomlin” sung by second-grader Madison White. This year’s theme verse was”praying always with all prayer and supplication in the spirit, being watchful to this end will all perseverance and supplication for all saints” Ephesians 6:18. The topic for this year was Ephesians Chapter 6 which refers to how Jesus prepares us of the evil on the earth with the whole armor of God.

From that very first year in 1990, See You at the Pole has been about one simple act: prayer. Today, SYATP is still about students humbling themselves, turning to God, and interceding for their generation.
