Brantley HIgh School senior Garrett Mitchell is in stable condition after being injured in a tractor accident Wednesday afternoon.

He was taken to Crenshaw Community Hospital before being flown to Baptist South Medical Hospital  in Montgomery.

Hospital personnel said Mitchell was admitted to the operating room, but would not comment on the nature or severity of his injuries. On Thursday morning, he was said to be in stable condition in the hospital’s surgical intensive care unit.
