Forecast forces postponement of Bark in the Park

The Butler County Humane Society’s Bark in the Park event, scheduled for Sunday, has been postponed until April 27.

Event organizer Kimberly Matthews said the organization elected to postpone the event until April 27 due to the chance of rain on Sunday.
According to the National Weather Service, showers are likely Sunday and there is a possibility of a thunderstorm in the afternoon. There is a 70 percent chance of rain.
The annual event serves as a fundraiser for the Butler County Humane Society.
