The Crenshaw County Commission is once again participating in this year’s People Against a Littered State (PALS) spring clean-up, but is looking for local churches to step up and help them cover the county.
“The Don’t Drop it on Alabama campaign will take place on April 19 and April 26,” said County Administrator David Smyth. “We are asking that area churches take a lead role in our campaign this year and announce from your pulpits plans to clean up something like a mile around your own church.”
Smyth said there large bags that can be picked up at the courthouse for the two Saturday pick-ups.
“The state would love to count how many bags of litter are picked up , if you could keep a total,” he said.
