Roads are beginning to open back up across the state and in Crenshaw County this afternoon.

All county roads remained closed, County Engineer Benjie Sanders said, as of 3 p.m.

Sanders said they will reevaluate in a few hours to see how the roads are.

All State and US Highways in Crenshaw County are open with the exception of the following, but officials are urging commuters use extreme caution while driving.

• State Highway 189 – the entire route in Crenshaw and Coffee Counties as of 1:11 p.m.

• State Highway 141 – the entire route in Crenshaw and Coffee Counties as of 1:14 p.m.; and

• U.S. 29 from Luverne to Troy, as of 12:40 p.m.
