Butler County Schools will remain closed for at least one more day.

Officials announced Wednesday morning that schools in the Butler County School System will remain closed Thursday due to a winter storm that has made many roadways throughout the county dangerous to travel.

Officials cancelled classes for all Butler County public schools on Tuesday and Wednesday.

An announcement about Friday will be made at a later time.

Fort Dale Academy will also be closed on Thursday.

Via its Facebook page, school officials said that school will resume classes Friday on its regular schedule.
