Funeral services set for local girl killed New Year’s Day

Funeral services have been set for the local teen shot and killed in the early morning hours on New Year’s Day near the Crenshaw and Pike County line.
Kristin Danielle Fuller, 18 , of Rutledge will be remembered Sunday, January 5, at Luverne First Baptist Church with the Rev. Donnie Burns officiating.
Interment will follow at County Line Cemetery with Turner Funeral Home of Luverne
Kristin was preceded in death by her grandfather, Herman Morrell; and her great grandparents, Harvey and Faye Holland and William Owens.
Survivors include her parents, Sharon and Jamie Fuller; two brothers, Justin Fuller and Jared Fuller; her grandmothers, Patsy Morrell and Cathy Bolling; and several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Active pallbearers will be Thomas Mills, Justin Williamson, Eric Lowe, Logan Weeks, Will Moses, Trey Dillon, Rann Smyth, and Storm Worthington. Classes of 2013 and 2012 would like to be recognized as honorary pallbearers.
The family will receive friends at the church on Sunday from 12 p.m. until service time.
Taylor Driggers, 19, of Brantley has been charged with manslaughter in the shooting death.
He is being held in the Crenshaw County Jail under a $100,000 bond until after Fuller’s funeral.
