Mr. Simon Davis of Dothan is pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of his daughter, Demetria Davis, to Joseph Davis IV, son of Mr. Joseph Davis III and Ms. Johnna Davidson of Chicago, Ill.

Miss Davis is the daughter of the late Gloria Davis.

The bride-elect is a graduate of Dothan High School and Auburn University Montgomery where she earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting. She is currently employed with the Alabama Department of Revenue.

The groom-elect is a graduate of Greenville High School and Troy University where he earned a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice. He is currently employed with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Department.

The wedding will be held Jan. 18.
