Korean painting class coming

LBW Community College-Luverne Center, Continuing Education Division, will offer “Korean Painting” Jan. 14 –March 18, 2014, on-site at 886 Glenwood Road in Luverne. Classes will be held on Tuesdays, 6p.m. – 7:30 p.m.for 10 weeks.
This class is for anyone interested in learning how to paint and appropriate for all ages. Students will learn about the basics of traditional Korean painting. No book is required for this course, but students will need the following supplies: brush, rice paper, black ink and color inks. The materials may be purchased from an art supply store or from the instructor for $70 (materials should last for approximately one year).
The cost of the ten-week course is $80 per participant. Space is limited. Registration may be completed at the LBWCC-Luverne Monday – Thursday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m., and Friday, 8 a.m. – noon.
