Effie Mae Pinkerton, 81, a resident of Georgiana, Ala., passed away Dec. 21,  at Georgiana Medical Center.  Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Dec. 23, at the Johnson Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Mike Phillips officiating. Burial will follow in Love’s Way Church Cemetery with Johnson Funeral Home of Georgiana directing.  The family will receive friends Monday afternoon from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. at Johnson Funeral Home.  Ms. Pinkerton was preceded in death by her husband, Tharil Pinkerton; son, Lane Pinkerton; granddaughter, Amanda Lynn Tetter; and great-grandchildren, Candace Brogden and Carter Grey Hanson.  She is survived by her daughter, Dorothy Tetter, Georgiana, Ala.; son, Dewey (Shelia) Pinkerton, Prattville, Ala.; grandchildren, Rusty (Amanda) Tetter, Dusty (Larry) Brogden, Tiffany (Justin) Hanson, Richard (Crystal) Tetter, Kayla Pinkerton, Mark Gray, and MariAnne Long; and great-grandchildren, Hope, Erin, and Winsday Tetter, Amaya Brogden, Triston and Rylie Hanson, Destiny and Madison Hutto, Trey Long, McKinley, Kayden, and Addilyn Gray.
