Henry Jackson Lowe
LOWE, Mr. Henry Jackson, 80, a resident of Luverne, died Wednesday, December 04, 2013. Funeral services were held Friday, December 6, 2013 from Cool Springs Primative Baptist Church with Rev. William Leverette and Rev. Joe Leverette officiating. Interment will follow in Cool Springs Cemetery with Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Mr. Lowe is preceded in death by his wife, Ruby Mae Lowe; daughter, Mary Ann Cleckley; great granddaughter, Emma Lowe; sister, Ouida Carol Lowe; brother, Virgil Lowe. He is survived by four children, Bobby(Elaine) Lowe, Michael(Cornelia) Lowe, Thomas(Rosemary) Lowe and Linda(David) Tadlock; son-in-law, Ottis Cleckley; ten grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. Active pallbearers will be grandsons, Steve Lowe, Dereck Lowe, Michael Lowe, Jeremy Lowe, Nathan Lowe and Joshua Tadlock. Honorary pallbearers will be Gilbert Sexton, Billy Peters and Farron Frazier. The family will receive friends at the church Friday from 2PM until service time.
Eileen Kiefert
KIEFERT, Mrs. Eileen Archer, 63, a resident of Highland Home died Monday December 2, 2013. The family plans a memorial service and it will be scheduled at a later date. Survivors include her husband of thirteen years, James Lee Kiefert; four children, Nicole Archer, James L. Kiefert, II, Joseph E. Kiefert and Vallie Rebecca Kiefert-Goings; and seven grandchildren.
Leon ‘Bo’ Dobbs
DOBBS, Mr. Leon “Bo”, 58, a resident of Luverne died suddenly Thursday December 5, 2013 at his residence. Graveside services were held at 2 pm Saturday December 7, 2013 at Black Rock Cemetery with Rev. Mike Moses officiating and Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Mr. Dobbs is preceded in death by his parents, Leon and Shirley Raybon Dobbs. Survivors include his wife of 32 years, Janese Teague Dobbs; two sons, George Leon Dobbs and Gary Lee Dobbs; five sisters, Helen Ballard, Brenda Brown, Ann Jones, Gale (Gary) Beasley and Sandra Holland; and three brothers, Robert Dobbs, Chad Dobbs and Greg Dobbs. Active pallbearers were William Dobbs, David Kelley, Travis Johnson, Cody Holland, Randall Ballard, and Brent Godwin. Honorary pallbearers were Henry Holland and Matthew Dobbs.
