Ethel A. Smith, age 70, a resident of Goshen, died Sunday, October 27, 2013.  Funeral services will be held Thursday, Oct. 31, 2013 at 2:00 pm from Goshen Baptist Church with Reverend David Zorn, Reverend Jared Buchanan and Reverend W.O. Sanders officiating.  Interment will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery with Dillard Funeral Home of Troy directing.

 Visitation will be held Wednesday, Oct. 30, 2013 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Dillard Funeral Home in Troy.

 

Mrs. Smith is survived by her husband Billy G. Smith of Goshen; son and daughter-in-law, Billy W. and Jennifer Smith of Goshen; grandson, Todd Smith of Goshen; 4 brothers, J.M. Crowe of Luverne, James W. Crowe (Monagale) of Brantley, Clarence O. Crowe (Betty) of Glenwood, Roy B. Crowe (Sharon) of Brantley; 2 sisters Faye Johnson (Cowboy) of Brantley and Caroline Wilkerson (Donnie) of Brantley; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

 

She is preceded in death by her parents James and Mary Alice Crowe, and 2 brothers, Barney Paul Crowe and Bordy Crowe.

 

Pallbearers will be her nephews.  Honorary pallbearers will be the deacons of Goshen Baptist Church.

 

Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Goshen Baptist Church.
