Highland Home School saw the only increase in average daily membership in the Crenshaw County School system this year, according to numbers released Monday night by Superintendent Randy Wilkes.
Average daily membership is defined as the average number of students enrolled on a daily basis.
HHS saw an increase of 38 students, putting the school’s ADM at 791.45, while Luverne and Brantley saw slight decreases.
Luverne’s ADM was 802.55 and Brantley’s was 587.30.
According to Journal archives, Brantley had an ADM of 599.60 last year. Highland Home had an ADM of 753.10 and Luverne 835.45.
Wilkes told the board it was unclear how that would affect the number of teaching units the system would receive until the next legislative session.
