Fort Dale fans will have to wait until the fall to get their first glimpse of the Eagles as they prepare to defend their 2010 Class AAA state championship.

The Eagles were scheduled to close out their spring workouts with a controlled scrimmage with Morgan, but due to the AISA state baseball championships being held at Paterson Field in Montgomery, the game was cancelled. There is an Alabama Independent School Association rule that does not allow AISA members to hold athletic contest on the same day as a state championship.
