Students at Fort Dale Academy get an up close look at a red-tailed hawk. The red-tailed hawk was one of six birds of prey that was part of the Alabama 4-H Center’s Raptor Trek, which visited local elementary schools on Monday. Raptor Trek is a live bird of prey program featuring captive-bred, rehabilitated and imprinted birds. The show, which was sponsored by the Alabama Cooperative Extension and local businesses, was also held at W.O. Parmer Elementary School, Greenville Elementary School, Georgiana School and McKenzie School.
