THORNTON, Mrs. Conrad Dean Flowers Fowler, 76, a resident of Brantley died Friday May 6, 2011.
Funeral services were held at 11 am Monday May 9, 2011 at the Luverne First Assembly of God Church with Rev. Keith Price, Rev. Steve Defee and Rev. Mitch Mares officiating.
Interment followed in Brunson Chapel Cemetery with Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing.
Mrs. Thornton was preceded in death by her husband, Tom Horn Flowler; parents, Frank and Novella Catrett Flowers; and four brothers, Aaron, Bill, Karon and Jimmy Royce Flowers.
Survivors include her husband, Odis W. Thornton; two sisters, Faye (Tommy) Horn and Mary Katherine (Clayborn) Atwell; four brothers, Marriel (Elaine) Flowers, William (Mary) Flowers, Joe C. (Sandra) Flowers and Wendell (Audrey) Flowers; and a host of nieces and nephews. Active pallbearers were Patrick Horn, Samuel K. Thornton, Greg Flowers, John Moseley, Timothy Folmar and Justin Bradley.
