Let the games begin

Lt. Malcom Owens presents the official Special Olympics torch to special education students at Greenville High School on Tuesday. The second annual Butler County Special Olympics is scheduled for April 26 at Tiger Stadium in Greenville, and will include students from throughout the Butler County School district. The torch was delievered to GHS by the Foley Police Department. The torch will be delivered to the stadium by the Greenville Police Department’s SRT team to open the games. The team will carry the torch from the police station through downtown to the stadium.
