Hilliard, Mrs. Lucille “Lucy” Anderson, 96, a resident of Luverne died Thursday April 21, 2011.

Funeral services will be held at 11 am Saturday April 23, 2011 at the Chapel of Turner Funeral Home with Rev. Jud Flint officiating.

Interment will follow in Rutledge Cemetery with Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing.

Mrs. Hilliard was preceded in death by her husband, John W. “Bill” Hilliard; parents, Willie and Lodell Walker Anderson; six sisters, Lanie Tanner, Ida Bell McCartha, Yarbie Worthington, Cordie Stephenson, Lee Fowler and Mae Lyons; and two brothers, Buddy Anderson and Hershel Anderson. She is survived by a number of nieces and nephews.

Active pallbearers are Scottie Wallace, Billy Joe Evans, Tim Fowler, Alex Alexander, Kevin Manning and Steven Stephenson.
