The Crenshaw County Sheriff’s Department and other law enforcement are investigating the death of an 87-year-old man on Sweet Water Road near Highland Home.

The body of an 87-year-old white male was discovered following a 911 call this afternoon.

The name of the victim has not been released, and the case is being investigated as a homicide.
