Bobbie Jean Curtis, age 59, of Madison, Wisc. was born on Oct. 15,1951 in Luverne, Ala. and expired suddenly on April 8, 2011.

Funeral services will be held at King’s Chapel A.M.E. Zion Church in Luverne. The time and date are pending.

The Rev. Roosevelt Word I will be officiating, and burial will follow at the Luverne Cemetery.
She was preceded in death by her father, Jeff Curtis of Luverne; two sisters, Annie L. Rutledge and Mary C. Folmar of Luverne.

She is survived by a loving mother, Carrie L. Curtis of Luverne; one brother, Jesse Curtis of Madison, Wisc.; two sisters, Diane Russell of Chicago, Ill. and Brenda Curtis of Madison, Wisc.; one uncle, Otis Wilson of Cleveland, Ohio; a special neice, Sheila Johnson of Luverne; a host of other relatives and friends and a caring companion, Nelson Waugh of Madison, Wisc.
