Report ranks Butler County 28th healthiest in state

A national report released Wednesday ranks Butler County as the 28th healthiest county in the State of Alabama.
The report, released by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and the University of Wisconsin Population Health Institute, took into account 25 health factors.
Those factors included access to health care, air and water quality, high school graduation rates, obesity, teen births and unemployment rates.
Shelby County ranked as the healthiest county in the state, followed by Baldwin County and Lee County.
Lowndes County was ranked last among the 67 counties, while Crenshaw County ranked 19th.
