Fort Dale soccer season comes to an end

The Fort Dale Soccer team lost 4-2 against Glenwood in the playoffs, ending the season for the Eagles.
Glenwood jumped out early, scoring 2 goals for a healthy lead. Fort Dale’s Tyler Millo answered with 18 minutes let in the first half, bringing the score to 2-1.
The Fort Dale defense couldn’t hold Glenwood for the rest of the first half, and allowed one more goal with 3 minutes remaining to grab a 3-1 lead.
The second half started with another quick goal from Glenwood to put the Eagles down 4-1.
With only a few minutes remaining, Brandon Brown slid one past the keeper on a penalty kick to make the score 4-2, but it was too little too late. Glenwood advances in the playoffs and will face Lee-Scott in the semi-finals.
Fort Dale ended its season with a 6-5-1 record.
