If you’ve ever spent time in Central Florida wearing a pair of mouse ears, then you’re familiar with one of the key business practices that helped make Walt Disney a household name.
As well as providing “magical” entertainment, Disney World is known for its impeccable customer service.
Disney prides itself on the promise that its Cast members (how it refers to its employees) “turn the ordinary into the extraordinary.”
This approach to business is not exclusive to Disney. In fact, it’s a common priority for many of the world’s most successful businesses.
You don’t have to be listed in the Fortune 500 to implement a successful customer service strategy. Best practices in this area are perhaps even more important for smaller businesses, like the many found in our community.
It’s in this spirit that the Greenville Area Chamber of Commerce will offer a workshop on customer service April 21 from 9 a.m. to noon.
The event is offered under the direction of Alabama Industrial Development Training and will be led by Connie Sator of AIDT’s leadership development team.
The training is presented free of charge, but seating is limited. For more information, call the Greenville Area Chamber of Commerce, 832-3251.
