Rose E. Michalski
MICHALSKI, Mrs. Rose Everage, 87, a resident of Glenwood died Thursday, June 25, 2009. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 27, 2009 at the Chapel of Turner Funeral Home with Rev. Kenny Horn and Rev. William Leverette officiating. Interment followed in Mt. Zion Cemetery with Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing.
Mrs. Michalski was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Frank Michalski and seven brothers and sisters. Survivors include two children, Larry (Gloria) Michalski of Brandenton, FL and Linda Michalski of Glenwood; two grandchildren, Tammy (David) DeJohn of Homestead, FL and Anissa (Chuck) Moseley of Brantley; four great-grandchildren, Celeste and Christian DeJohn and Alissa and Tyler Moseley; sister, Sue (Dauldon) Barrow; brother, Ben (Liz) Everage; and many beloved nieces, nephews and friends.
Active pallbearers were Harold Barrow, Gary Parker, Thad Everage, Chuck Moseley, David DeJohn and Tommy Everage.
Eva Faye Bass
BASS, Mrs. Eva Faye, 45, a resident of Greenville died suddenly Wednesday, June 24, 2009. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday, June 29, 2009 at the Chapel of Turner Funeral Home with Rev. Burney Enzor officiating. Interment followed in Ebenezer Cemetery with Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing.
Mrs. Bass was preceded in death by her mother, Alice Faye Bolding. Survivors include her husband of 11 years, Ron Bass; two daughters, Alishia Taylor and Ashley (Matthew) Shirley; three grandchildren, Austin Cowles, Bobby Brooks, Kenny Shirley; father, Wilbert K. Bolding; a sister, Donna (Mark) Lowery; and two brothers, James (Lisa) Bolding and Eric Bolding.
Active pallbearers were Bobby Brooks, Matthew Shirley, Monte Bass, Corey Lowery, Chris Bolding and Brian Pettie.
Nellie Wright Taylor
TAYLOR, Mrs. Nellie Wright Gipson, 89, a resident of Crestview, FL, died Friday, June 26, 2009 at her resident. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 30, 2009 at the Chapel of Turner Funeral Home with Rev. Wayne Sharpe officiating. Interment followed in Rutledge Cemetery with Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing.
Mrs. Taylor was a native of Rutledge but had been a long time resident of Gantt before her move to Crestview three years ago. She was an active member of the First Baptist Church of Gantt where she was a pianist for many years. She volunteered at the Christian Service Center in Andalusia up to the time she moved to Crestview; her time there was very important to her, as were the many friends that she made.
She is preceded in death by her husbands, Walter Duke Gipson and Robert Willis Taylor and her son, Walter Larry Gipson. Survivors include two daughters, Rona (Rob) Reitz of Crestview and Cynthia (Allen) Reynolds of Ft. Walton Beach; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; one brother, Joe (Janette) Wright of Panama City; one daughter-in-law, Ingrid Gipson of Pensacola; and two brothers-in-law, Johnny (Beverly) Taylor of Goshen and Doyle (Sue) Taylor of Gantt. Active pallbearers were Rob Reitz, Allen Reynolds, Christopher Reynolds, Brian Reynolds, Joseph Caton, Eric Smith, Kyle Smith and John Gipson.
Isaac Money
MONEY, Mr. Isaac “ Newt”, 96, a resident of Glenwood died Wednesday, July 1, 2009. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, July 3, 2009 at the Chapel of Turner Funeral Home with Rev. Bobby Weeks officiating. Interment will follow in Bethel Cemetery with Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Mr. Money was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Alice Tisdale Money. Survivors include five children, Roy Isaac (Roberta) Money, Jack Thomas Money, John Amos (Fleta) Money, Joseph Lee Money and Marily Money (Bill) Barnes; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. The family requests that memorial donations be made to the Bethel Cemetery Fund, c/o William McDougald, 1238 Davis Road, Brantley, AL 36009.
