Fort Dale Academy senior Brandon Brown scored three goals to power the Eagles to a 3-1 win over Macon-East Montgomery Academy Monday in Cecil.

Trent O’Malley scored the Knights’ lone goal.

The Lady Eagles also scored a win in their opener.

Fort Dale raced out to a 4-0 lead by halftime and then held on for the win despite three second-half goals by the Lady Knights.

Christen McKeague scored three goals for the Lady Eagles, and Laiken Burleson added the other goal.

Rai Pritchett, Dallas Sanders and Ashley Mathis each scored for the Lady Knights.
