The Friends of BEST were special guests of the Greenville Kiwanis Club on Tuesday. Friends of BEST was formed for the purpose of aiding, promoting and developing a statewide program based on the BEST Robotics program. BEST (Boosting Engineering, Science & Technology) is a national program designed to excite K-12 students about technology. Students compete, building and designing their own robots. Greenville High School has a team participating in the competition, which lasts 42 days and culminates with The Great Freight Challenge to be held at Wallace Community College in Selma on March 19.
