Shelby to visit Butler County

U.S. Sen. Richard Shelby (R-Ala.) will join the residents of Butler County for a meet and greet at noon on Feb. 2, his office announced Tuesday.
The meeting, which is open to the public, will take place at Bates House of Turkey in Greenville.
The meeting will mark the Shelby’s 1,746th county visit since his election to the U.S. Senate.
Shelby will address the legislative agenda for the first session of the 113th Congress, as well as important issues facing the nation and the state of Alabama. Following his remarks, Shelby will open the floor to questions and comments from those in attendance.
