Greenville native Linda Patricia Jernigan graduated from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas, on Dec. 14.

Jernigan, a member of Southside Baptist Church, received her doctorate in social work.

Degrees were conferred on 197 students during fall commencement, with 32 students receiving doctoral degrees.
