Eagles snap two-game skid

Fort Dale Academy snapped a two-game losing streak Tuesday night with a 44-29 win over Lowndes Academy.
The Eagles (6-2) rallied from an early 6-5 deficit to take a 22-19 lead heading into the intermission.
Fort Dale outpaced the Rebels 12-4 in the third period and 10-6 in the fourth period to seal the victory.
Jack Bates led the Fort Dale charge with 12 points and 16 rebounds.
Bates was 6-for-16 from the field. He also had three blocks.
Wesley Scott scored seven points and pulled down four rebounds for the Eagles, while Taylor Windham, Chip Taylor, Ryan Salter and John Coleman Poole each scored four points in the win.
