Police searching for third rape suspect

Greenville Police are still searching for a third suspect in a December rape case.
Derrick Rudolph, a 23-year-old black male is wanted for rape, 1st, according to Sr. Lt. Justin Lovvorn. Rudolph is described to be of average build, around 170, and 5’8″.
Police received a report on Dec. 16 from a woman alleging she had been raped on South Street.
“We immediately developed three suspects based on victim descriptions and witnesses,” Lovvorn said.
Police apprehended Johnny Crenshaw, 27, and Lamanda Rudolph, 19 and charged both with rape, 1st, but said that Rudolph, the third suspect in the case, has evaded police.
Police believe that Rudolph may be residing within Wetumpka. Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Rudolph can call Lovvorn or Corp. Kenneth Hadley with the Greenville investigations unit at 382-2647, ext. 4.
