There will be a memorial service at Antioch West Baptist Church honoring the great-grandfather of Mr. O’Neal Griffin, who served in the Confederate Army in the War between the States, and is buried in the church cemetery.

The SCV Camp from Bay Minette will be in attendance and in Confederate uniform and will present CSA colors for the grave marking service.

Along with the Griffin family, other area descendants are the Salter and Powell families.
