Fort Dale Academy has postponed all athletic events scheduled for today.

FDA’s junior varsity, pee-wee and termite football teams were scheduled to play Edgewood Academy. The school’s volleyball team was also scheduled to host Edgewood. That match has been cancelled, according to a statement released by the school on its Facebook page.

The football games will be played on Thursday. However, the games will now be played at Edgewood. School officials decided to move the game due to FDA’s varsity home opener with Coosa Valley on Friday night and the heavy rains that are expected to accompany Tropical Storm Isaac.
