Alabama State Fire Marshal Edward Paulk released a statement this morning about the investigation into the cause of Saturday’s fire at “It Don’t Matter” in Highland Home.

“We have not been able to rule out lightning as a cause of the fire at the It Don’t Matter Family Restaurant in Highland Home last Saturday night,” Paulk said. “At this time the cause is undetermined and the investigation continues, although foul play is not suspected.”
