Sarah Katherine “Kitty” Davis, age 88, died on Sunday, September 19, 2010.  Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 22, 2010, at 11:00 a.m. from the chapel of Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home.  Burial will follow at Sunrise Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. prior to services.

Mrs. Davis was preceded in death by her parents, Lewis Casper and Belle Franks, husband, William H. Davis, and sisters, Rachel Rosa and Ermine Roberson.  She is survived by her children William Frank (Millie) Davis of Birmingham, AL, Joseph Sherwood (Joy) Davis of Griffin, GA, grandchildren, Joseph Davis (Anne) Keen of Forest Home, AL, Patrick (Rhea) McDonald of Birmingham, AL, Michael (Tracy)McDonald of Birmingham, AL, Jason Turner of Roswell, GA, Jessica (Randall) Orr of Griffin, GA, numerous great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, brother, Joseph Rayborn (Betty) Franks of Orlando, FL, and numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to First Baptist Church of Greenville, AL, organ fund.
