Law enforcement makes several local drug arrests

Two separate investigations by the Crenshaw County Sheriff’s Office have ended in drug arrests.
Last week, several arrests were made after marijuana was spotted from a helicopter.
Sandra Wood Caldwell, 49, of Luverne was arrested after deputies confiscated two marijuana plants.
Michael Gregory Mills, 60, of Luverne was also arrested.
The operation was a joint project between the CCSO, Alabama Bureau of Investigation and the military.
On July 30, deputies executed a search warrant at 203 Rutledge Street, where amounts of marijuana and cocaine were recovered.
Marquise Randle, 35, and Latrail McGhee, 29, were arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
