Greenville Lions Club Sight Chairman Annette Cartwright is pictured with Walter Parmer with the Butler County Historical & Genealogical Society. During the Lions Club meeting held Monday, Jan. 13, Parmer spoke to the club about the group’s efforts to preserve the history of Butler County and its membership. The next scheduled meeting will be held on the second floor of the courthouse on Jan. 26 at 2 p.m. and will consist of a program about the past Probate Judges of Butler County. A historic portrait of Judge Samuel Jackson Bolling will also be unveiled.
