Joey Lamon Johnson, 66, a lifelong resident of Georgiana died Tuesday, Dec. 24, 2024. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lamon Johnson and Willene Josey, son, Shawn Bolden and his siblings, Rickey Josey, Linda Wasden and Jimmy Johnson.
Survivors include his wife, Rhonda Johnson; daughters, Stephanie Johnson and Jennifer Johnson; sister, Teresa (Mike) Smith of Montgomery; sister-in-laws, Kay Johnson of Georgiana and Michele (Charles) Hodges of McClenny, Florida; brother-in-laws, James (Susie) Wood, Tommy Albright and Ronnie Albright, all of Greenville; Katherine (James) McCullough of Georgiana, Kimberly Jones and Jonathan Jones both of Bay Minette; great grandchildren, Henry McCullough, Daniel McCullough and Melva Lynn McCullough; Sean Bolden and Hayden Bolden and aunts, nieces and nephews.
A memorial was held Saturday, Jan 4 at First Assembly of God of Greenville, with Brandon Johnson, Rex Simmons and Jonathan Jones officiating.
