In response to extremely cold morning temperatures, Butler County Schools will implement a late start for students from Tuesday, Jan. 7, through Friday, Jan. 10. To ensure the safety and well-being of students and staff, all schools will begin at 9 a.m. during this period.

Employees are requested to report to work by 8:30 a.m. to ensure smooth operations and student supervision. This decision was made with the priority of keeping all individuals safe during the hazardous conditions.

“We appreciate the cooperation of all staff, students, and families as we take the necessary steps to address these weather-related concerns,” said Superintendent Joseph Eiland in a Monday press release.  Further updates or changes will be communicated as soon as possible.
