Lions Sight

A Christmas Market will take place at Christchurch (formerly Southern Homes and Gardens) at 8820 Vaughn Road in Montgomery Nov. 21 from 5 – 8 p.m., Nov. 23 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Nov. 24 12 – 4 p.m. Tickets are $10  at the door or at christchurchanglican.net/bookstore.

Fall Festival

The Spring Creek Homemakers’ Club will hold its fall festival Nov. 23, 8 – 10 a.m. at the Spring Creek Volunteer Fire Department on Steiner Store Road in Honoraville. Items for sale to benefit the Spring Creek Volunteer Fire Department will be home baked goods, candies, white elephant items, and more.  

Blood Drive

Walmart in Greenville will host a LifeSouth blood drive Nov. 24, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Celebrate Recovery 

Celebrate Recovery meets every Tuesday evening at 6 p.m. at the First Assembly of God Church, 760 N. Conecuh Street in Greenville. The group deals with all types of issues and is free to the public. For more information call (334) 382-2138.

Quilt Club 

Quilt Club meets every Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Greenville-Butler Co. Public Library. Beginner and advanced quilters welcome. 

Book Club

The No Stress Book Club will be held at 4 p.m. every second and fourth Wednesday of month at the Greenville Butler County Public Library, located at 309 Fort Dale Road.

Music Class

FUMC is hosting a juniors music class for elementary kids aged 4-10 at 6 p.m. on Wednesday nights at 112 Adams St. Singing, handbells, and rhythm instruments. Call  382-5872 for more info.

Quilt Club meets every Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Greenville-Butler Co. Public Library. Beginner and advanced knitters welcome.

Greenville Garbage

The City of Greenville will be closed in observance of Thanksgiving Day Nov. 28. Monday garbage routes will remain the same. Tuesday and Wednesday routes will be picked on Tuesday, Nov. 26., and Thursday routes on Wednesday, Nov. 27. Please have garbage by the curb no later than 7 a.m. Tuesday morning.

Camellia Express

The Greenville Chamber of Commerce presents the Camellia Christmas Express Dec. 5 from 3 – 6 p.m. at Greenville’s historic train depot. Santa pictures, crafts, snacks and more will be available. Call (334) 382-3251 to schedule Santa pictures.

The City of Greenville’s Christmas Parade, “Miracle on Main,” will take place downtown, Dec. 10 at 6:30 p.m. Park festivities begin at 5 p.m. with a Christmas tree lighting at 6 p.m. Deadline to register for the parade is Nov. 25.
