Ghosts, goblins and costumed characters filled Commerce Street on Oct. 31 as the Greenville Area Chamber of Commerce and the City of Greenville hosted its annual Trick-or-Treat on Commerce Street. More than 50 local businesses and community members set up downtown to hand out candy and celebrate Halloween.

“We’re grateful to all the businesses that helped make this event a success by passing out candy and to the Greenville Police Department, Kyle and Dave from Q94, the Camellia Girls and Chamber Pages and all city and chamber staff working behind the scenes,” said Chamber of Commerce Director Tracey Salter. “And a special thanks to Greenville Pediatrics for sponsoring the balloon artist; the kids loved all the creative balloon characters.”

The event drew thousands of guests, who enjoyed candy, treats from Camellia Sweet Treats, a pumpkin carving contest and costume and dance contests.
